Job Title: Senior Frontend Engineer
Location: Remote Romania - This role can be performed anywhere in Romania
The Role
We are building tools that allow our user community to easily manage their content, watch what others create and tell about their personal stories. This means solving complex problems at massive scale with a variety of interdependent solutions. Our Senior Frontend Engineer work on tactical teams that see the direct impact of the products they build on our millions of customers and our even broader GoPro community. We are looking for product delivery-oriented Senior Frontend Engineers excited by big problems.
GoPro.com is the main distribution channel for GoPro cameras and accessories and the eCommerce team is on the forefront of making the shopping experience as easy and as fast as possible. This opportunity will directly influence the success of the eCommerce department and of the entire organization.
Responsibilities
- Architecting improvements and introducing new functionality to our Salesforce Commerce Cloud implementation
- Enhance and maintain our internal frameworks and tools to enable rapid development
- Take ownership of important projects from technical design to implementation
- Support and enhance our headless commerce implementation via API design and implementation
Skills We’re Excited About
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science from an accredited university would be preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of experience with application development within an enterprise setting with e-commerce experience as a plus
- Ideally has worked on multiple e-commerce implementations
- Strong capability working with JavaScript frameworks (React preferably, Angular, Vue also great) and Node.js
- Experience with performance optimization of web applications
- Experience working with REST and SOAP Web Service Integration at scale
- Any experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Demandware is big plus
- Collaborative experience working with UX designers and Product Managers
- Comfortable working in an Agile environment
