Job Title: Video and computer graphics intern
Location: Issy-les-Moulineaux
The Role
GoPro delivers a set of world-class, cross platform, video editing applications on iOS, Android, MacOS and Windows that are collectively used by millions of people each month.
These tools enable users to easily build incredible videos of their life events and share them with their family
and friends.
The Video Engine team provides the cross-platform engines that power each of the GoPro applications. Those tools assemble, filter and create
video edits from a variety of user's media. Being part of this team means that you will be at the center of the action, working with artists to create the best video editing experience on mobile and desktop platforms.
Our artists, computer vision researchers and developers rely on a variety of graphics tools for conception, analysis and debug.
One of them is oriented around the identification and study of visual differences.
As an intern, you will be tasked with a deep rework of that tool, at every level: from its backend API up to its graphical interface.
Soon enough, you will also participate in the process of open-sourcing it.
By the end of the internship, you will have acquired countless new skills and contributed publicly and likely taken over a useful and professional open-source software.
While you don't need to be an expert at first, we have some requirements to quickly get on track:
Additionally, having some computer vision background will obviously be helpful.
