Location (Flexible Tokyo): This role requires proximity to an office location with the flexibility to work from home
We are seeking a top-tier candidate for the Director of Marketing for Japan based in Tokyo. This position can work remote but will require time spent in GoPro’s Tokyo office to help guide the existing marketing team and to interface and coordinate with the sales team.
You will be responsible for building and executing our marketing strategy to support our retail business (both major retailers and specialty sales retailers) as well as our direct-to-consumer business. The position will report directly to the Vice President of Global Marketing.
You will interface closely with the head of sales and marketing for APAC as well as the marketing leadership team at HQ to develop high-level, cohesive strategic plans that align GoPro products, technology, and platforms in Japan.
