GoPro is seeking a Staff Test Engineer located in Shenzhen China. This position will work with Gopro Engineer team and contract manufactures team and tool designer to build test system used in a manufacturing environment. These test systems will implement in our cameras manufacture test, the position will response tool design for manufacture (DFM / DFT), setup in manufacture production, collect qualification data and buy off for production as well as qualified the duplicated test system to support high volume production. The candidate is required to travel frequently to contract manufacturers, oversea travel might be required if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Response for sensor bringing up on the test system, familiar with image sensor (Bayer Sensor) working characteristics.
• Solve related image problems when new sensor introduced to camera module in manufacture test process.
• Image evaluation on the test equipment and automatic photographing test tools.
• Work with CM/ Engineer team for the DFT camera test system with economy solution.
• Work with tool supplier to make sure the image quality is working properly.
• Capable to debug & resolve all bugs are related to test process and equipment.
• Experience on ISP pipeline characteristics is preferred.
• Capable for problem solving for testing process and camera assembly issue.

Skills We’re Excited About

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electromechanical or Automation Engineering
• 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment on system level of Camera Test or relevant product
• Well know test system qualification process, familiar with tool for data analysis, i.e. Mini Tab. JMP or relevant
• Knowledge of CAD tool for dimension and tolerance analysis is a plus
• Knowledge of test development language like python, C+/C#, familiar with test script.
• Familiarity with material MSDS and fabrication parameters is a plus
• Speak and write both Mandarin and English.
• Organizational and communication skills, verbal, Email and MS office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Creative thinking for test system and process optimization
