The People Operations Systems Analyst provides operational support for the People Team and the delivery of People Systems projects. You will play a critical role in the final stages of implementation, and ongoing updates and enhancements to current modules in Workday and ServiceNow. You will work in a highly collaborative environment with internal teams and external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the technical backend of Workday and ServiceNow. Communicate effectively with IT/Infrastructure engineers regarding technical fixes and enhancements to the platforms.
  • Responsible for day-to-day, ongoing maintenance, and processing tasks within Workday such as, but not limited to: EIB loads, creating new locations, creating and maintaining cost centers and other organizations, updating quarterly talent processes, build of conditional rules and business processes, and maintaining security assignments.
  • Responsible for day-to-day, ongoing maintenance, and processing tasks within the people team ticketing system such as, but not limited to: creating and maintaining workflows, documentation and knowledge articles, home page design, surveys, responding to tickets or reassigning to others as needed.
  • Consistently reconcile, audit, and validate all People data to ensure integrity in all systems and reporting.
  • Recommend ways to improve manager and employee self-service and reduce contact with HR ‘help desk’ related to basic personnel transactions.
  • Serve as the point of contact between the People Team and Payroll, IT, Accounting, and others with regards to People Team systems and enhancements.
  • Participate as a project team member in ongoing People Systems implementation projects and People Operations projects.
  • Engage with the Workday Community and biannual releases to stay current on system capabilities to recommend solutions to address business needs.
  • Responsible for document storage and employee personnel files in Workday.
  • Own Apttus administrative processes for the People Team. Work with Legal and people leadership team on contract approvals.  
  • Own documentation of People Systems processes and procedures.

Skills We’re Excited About

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience
  • 3 years minimum of Workday experience (or equivalent HRIS experience)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, strong Excel skills
  • Strong technical and analytic skills
  • Systems thinker who understands the importance of interdependencies
  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure proper use of HR information
  • Ability to take initiative, prioritize work and multi-task
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical users
  • Collaborative, team-oriented, open and transparent style of working

  • Ability to create simple integrations in Workday
  • Prior experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
  • A self-starter who is action-oriented and operates at a fast pace
