Job Title: Sr. Interaction Designer

Location:  Flexible (San Mateo, CA) -  This role requires proximity to an office location with flexibility to work remotely 2-3 days/week with manager approval.

In this role you’ll collaborate with other designers and teams across GoPro to craft industry leading user experiences. User experience is at the forefront of everything we do. You’ll envision how customers experience our products and bring that vision to life in an intuitive, easy-to-use and even magical way for millions of GoPro customers around the world.

What You Will Do

  • Design and develop the user experience for our cameras and accessories
  • Communicate user experience with low and high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, wireframes and user flows
  • Create high-quality interaction specifications and standards
  • Contribute to advancing the design process, tools and methods

Skills We’re Excited About

  • Demonstrate understanding of visual and user centered design principles and methods
  • Experience in the development and usage of design systems, libraries and patterns
  • Experience applying analytics, consumer insights and research data into designs
  • Critical eye for attention to details and pixel perfection
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills working cross-functionally
  • Proficiency with Sketch, Figma, ProtoPie, Zeplin and localization design tools
  • 8-10 years of relevant industry experience
