Customer Analyst (Contractor)

GoPro's Global Sales Operations team is looking for an experienced and motivated candidate for the role of Customer Analyst in Shanghai. Our goal is to be a best-in-class supplier to our APAC retailer and distributor partners and this role will have a big part in making that happen. We are looking for a collaborative and experienced manager who will create and maintain relationships with our partners' supply chain/forecasting team members.

This position will be responsible for short term forecasting with customers, supply/demand matching and working cross functionally with operations, Finance and WW sales operations counterparts to ensure optimal customer service levels.


  • Be responsible for short-term forecasting with customers, supply/demand matching and working cross-functionally with operations, Finance and WW sales Operations counterparts
  • Own account/distributor short-term forecasting for APAC customers, manage account/distributor WOS
  • Work with operations to determine optimal supply-demand match plan
  • Focus on forecast accuracy within the short-term planning window of 0-13 weeks
  • Work closely with finance and order management partners on order to cash cycle Manage to customer service level metrics. Identify initiatives to improve these metrics.
  • Report quarterly revenue and potential risks to corporate office weekly.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and customers’ appointed forwarders to ensure smooth shipment pick-up.

Skills We’re Excited About

  • 6-8 years of experience in the areas of forecasting and/or demand planning
  • BS/BA or equivalent degree
  • Self-motivated, comfortable working with ambiguity and managing complexity in a global, fast-paced organization
  • Strong analytical skills, including financial scenario analysis - must have amazing excel skills
  • Collaborative and flexible work style
  • Knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and leading-edge technology
  • Excellent communication skills, including strong written and presentation skills
  • Understanding of SOX guidelines
  • Working knowledge of NetSuite and Strong excel skills
